What's going down this Saturday?

The annual Oktoberfest block party in front of Wolff's Biergarten returns Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on a blocked-off section of the street.  Head on over to Wolff's on Saturday located at 895 Broadway to be a part of the festivities and of course to eat.

The main attraction to this event is the beer and food, but there will also be a stein holding competition as well as live music.  If you want to get tickets in advance at Wolff's, tickets are $5 in advance and $7 if you wait until the day of the event.  The first 4,000 people will receive a free commemorative stein.

  1. Don't forget. That same day, but much earlier in the morning (8:30am to be precise) is the second annual Tour de Donut.

You may not be at Wolff's early enough to get a commemorative stein, but you will have two significant fall experiences in one day.

  2. 'Til Oktoberfest time again! I noticed that even the Time Warner cable music channels area now has a channel for it!
