One of my favorite things about summer is eating outside.
Living in the Northeast, we know this isn’t possible for more than half the
year (unless eating in a snowsuit is your thing). So every year around
April/May, I start itching to grab a beer and burger while enjoying the
beautiful weather. Lately, the weather has been throwing me some curveballs for
outdoor dining with the extreme heat and endless run of thunderstorm. But this
past weekend I was finally able to make my first trip of the season to one of
my favorite local summer spots…RiverFront Bar & Grill in Albany.
Beer, wings, burgers….what more does an Average Joe need?
Located at the north end of the Corning Preserve, RiverFront Bar & Grill
offers a peaceful and enjoyable view of the Hudson (which luckily did not
smell). On this night they did not have live music, but viewing their calendar
at the door, they have quite a lineup for this summer with popular local bands
like Audiostars and The Refrigerators, as well as weekly trivia on Wednesday
nights.
Great atmosphere, great food and you’re not going to break
the bank. What are some of your favorite outdoor dining spots in the Capital
Region?
Tittle was a little misleading. I thought it was a review of the actual restaurant - http://www.cheeseburgerinparadise.com/
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed!
Are you on vacation for the rest of the month? I used to look forward to this column but now the story is getting a little stale, I hope it doesn't also apply to the food.
ReplyDeleteHO HUM, ARE WE STILL HERE, OR ARE WE THERE YET? This one place destination is getting quite stale.
ReplyDeleteAverage Joe must have gone on vacation for the rest of the month, being that this review has been posted forever. Time to either shit or get off the pot Joe.
ReplyDeleteIs this review still here? It is only 2 weeks old and already it is giving me heartburn. Time for a new topic or a new reviewer as this one is way too stale.
ReplyDeleteENOUGH ALREADY ! Isn't there another place to review? I have had a month of the rotten burger, tasteless FF's and stale buns.
ReplyDeleteOMG, This cheap ass column is ridiculous in its antiquity and tasteless timing. Lets move on an either get a new review, or a new reviewer.
